Elwha RV Park is a family-owned park at the gateway to Olympic National Park, minutes from Port Angeles, WA. We're hiring workamping couples, individuals, and local applicants for seasonal and longer-term opportunities — across guest services, park support, and e-bike operations.

Focus

Guest service quality, operational support, staff coordination, and hands-on park presence.

Timing

Flexible start.

Commitment

Seasonal, with long-term potential if the position proves to be a mutual fit.

Whole-team management and park operational oversight — setting the tone, building schedules, hiring and training, and carrying daily operational flow alongside hands-on maintenance and property care.

Staff Leadership & Training

  • Encourage staff and recognize strong performance
  • Plan team-building events and recommend season-end bonuses
  • Build and manage staff schedules; submit bi-monthly hours and payroll
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and train maintenance and landscaping teams
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback
  • Ensure appropriate staffing coverage for operational needs

Operations & Project Leadership

  • Run weekly all-team meetings and daily maintenance huddles
  • Assess park upkeep and present large projects to ownership
  • Personally perform physical site work when needed
  • Lead during emergencies, service disruptions, and severe weather
  • Monitor systems, vendor contracts, and capital improvement needs
  • Participate in seasonal planning and rate strategy

Owner Reporting & Meetings

  • Track permits, contracts, reports, insurance renewals, and licenses
  • Review P&L, expense reports, and identify cost-control opportunities
  • Use booking, occupancy, and revenue reports for planning
  • Meet with ownership weekly or bi-monthly
  • Maintain confidentiality on financial, personnel, and operational info
